This all-knit blanket in two versions is a study in simplicity. Knit in strips, this is a very portable project with just a little simple seaming. To size it up to afghan or coverlet proportions, just add squares, make each square larger or use a chunkier yarn and bigger needles. 

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Approximately 25 x 25 inches

YARN: 2-color version: 1000 yards (500 yards in each of 2 colors) of worsted-weight yarn; 5-color version: 850 yards (170 yards in each of 5 colors) of worsted-weight yarn

GAUGE: Approximately 18 stitches = 4 inches in garter stitch

NEEDLES: US 8 needles or size to obtain gauge
